Electronic cigarettes, electronic cigarette or the e cigarette are devices that have been designed to simulate traditional cigarettes, but without the user inhaling tobacco or any of the 4000 plus chemicals that are present with tobacco cigarettes. There is no burning of tobacco with an electronic cigarette, they still contain nicotine, so look, feel, and produce a vapor when smoked that simulates tobacco smoke.

The Battery :

Electronic cigarette batteries come in two forms, they are either button operated, the user presses a button as they take a drag of the e cigarette. Or the battery has a sensor that switches it on when the user takes a drag.

The Atomizer :

The atomizer is an electrical coil fitted to the electronic cigarette which heats up an element when it receives a charge from the battery. When the coil heats up it vaporises the e liquid from the cartridge and produces a vapor which looks like smoke.

The Cartridge :

The electronic cigarette cartridge normally has a mouth piece with a small hole in it, and inside is a small piece of wadding which is soaked in e liquid or liquid flavored nicotine.
